Creating Waves of Awareness
Today morning I read about Lachesis. Believe me, today I have prescribed the same remedy to almost 3 patients. I tried to observe the cases with no preconcieved idea, but I could only observe the Lachesis symptoms. This happens even after reading about a new disease; wherein we are tempted to "diagnose" the same in most of our patients presented with the related symptoms. After all, we are human beings.

I think that when we have learned new information, then universe sends us cases needing our new information. I certainly go through times when it seems I am always successfully prescribing Ars alb to cats and Graphites to dogs. I may then not use them for several months.

Quite an interesting fact. All of us can normally move only with in the limited space/scope of our acquired knowledge. With permutation and combination, we move ahead and find some solutions, for the given problem.
Latest impressions certainly weigh more when we comprehend. But the fundamental question remains--Can we imagine the things outside our knowledge.

In fact Repertory also is a part of your knowledge. My question is -Can we imagine the things outside our knowledge. What so ever we think,is a part of our knowledge.Only persons like Dr. Hahnemann could think beyond the knowledge and result was discovery of Homeopathy.

Permalink Reply by Vijay Patankar on April 20, 2012 at 6:14am Well said - Dr. Christina, we are more than human beings.
But what is more remarkable in this 21st century, is that our ideas and knowledge has now become enlightened and is available for mass sharing. Thanks to the internet advancement.
Has anyone heard about the "100 Monkey Effect". This story explains how learning and knowledge becomes part of the collective subconscious and finds its way across the globe through collective subconscious.
You may have already seen this phenomenon is action. Give a teenager an electronic gadget (phone or an iPad) and ask them to change a certain setting - and within minutes without prior exposure, in most cases, and without the user- manual, most teenagers may be able to action your request.
Try and give the same gadget to an elderly person who did not grow up in the information technology age and they are more likely to struggle and may even give up after a few attempts.
How and why then today's teenagers are so switched on?
Because this information - on how to use gadgets, comes from the collective subconscious.
P.S I am not suggesting in any way that people who have grown up in another era are inferior in any way or less capable. I myself belong to that generation.
Warm regards,
Vijay Patankar

May be due to the changes in the genetic level. But in certain areas youngsters are poor performers. My grand father used to walk 15 km daily to attend his school. Now i cant move without a vehicle.
Permalink Reply by Mashkoor Ahmed on April 25, 2012 at 2:52pm Sometimes we try to match the remedy with the patient instead of matching the patient with the remedy . Likewise we also try to cure the similar cured case with the same remedy which was previously successfully selected , that might not be a simillimum this time , hence ignoring the science of individualization . And yes you are right , after all , we are human beings !

Permalink Reply by Dr. Sanjay Solunke on April 25, 2012 at 11:45pm Wisdom is a quality that is very hard to define. Only those who are wise can recognise it. Others mistake learning for wisdom, especially those who are highly rational. No constitutional type has a monopoly of wisdom, but there are deeper types, those who are more intuitive on the whole, and these types are more likely to possess wisdom, which is an intuitive understanding of the internal workings of life, the hidden processes and patterns which underlie external appearances. The more introverted Lachesis individual often has a great deal of wisdom, but he is not liable to advertise the fact. Indeed those who are wise never do so. They do, however, express their wisdom to those they feel able to understand, both in conversation, and through their creative works. The serpent is a symbol not only of wisdom, but also of healing (witness the two serpents entwined on the staff of the caduceus, the ancient symbol of the healer). True healing, whether of oneself or of another, requires wisdom, and I have come across several Lachesis individuals who used their intuitive abilities to heal others through bodywork.
