Can Only A Single Dose Of Medicine Cure Acute Or Chronic Disease?
Dear friends,
i am not criticizing any one.
But Many homoeopaths told in their case presentations only single dose of medicine cure their cases.
is this true?
according to my knowledge and experience,
single remedy cure the case, but not the single dose.
In acute conditions:
Must be repeat the doses to cure the case.
the repetition may be hourly, Twice or Thrice daily, Q.I.D., according to the
severity of the disesae.
In chronic condition:
The repetition may depend on the progress of the disease.
Needs intermittent doses of inter current remedy's.
Needs Doses of anti miasmatic remedy's.
The repetition may be weekly, after 15days, or Monthly.
If the remedy response is not good then HS Daily also.
Please discuss your views on single dose.

In long standing chronic diseases it is almost impossible that a single does will cure the case. With the change of state we need to change the medicine and quite often a number of doses are needed to correct that state. In acute cases, particularly in emergency, when patients’ life is in danger we need to repeat the medicine frequently otherwise the patient will die .
In chronic diseases when patient’s condition is not bad we can wait for the action of the remedy and if there is no or slight improvement we need to repeat the medicine to see the progress.

Simi, mini, mono, is the rule.
Similar remedy, minimum dose and single medicine at a time. It is your judgement, depending upon the vital status of the patient. You may or may not be required to repeat the doses, it varies from case to case.

It depends on the Case. The more dynamic or physiological the case, less repetition, and the more organic or pathological the case, more repetition of the remedy is needed. Thus, a single dose may cure a number of physiological cases.

In an acute, where pathogenesis is not so strong/layers of body affected are less, then if selected well, a single dose works. In chronic without a compound structure (mix miasm) & if vitality is strong then with less repetitions (some times with a single high dose) the result comes.

Sir,
A Single, simple, minimum dose at a time not for every time.
NO ONE SAYS THAT, one remedy will help patient through out for his whole life.
I remember the Kent world which is given in his repertory introduction.
''Give the single dose and wait, then wait for next cry, keep your hand off''.
With the single dose we just stimulate the vital force of the patient, he himself has to cure. Once you stimulate vital force with right remedy and potency cure will be archived by any means. (Either the case will be pathological or deep seated miasmatic)

If the patient is suffering from say simple fever and you gave a dose and nothing is happening and you are telling the patient and his/her attendants to wait and wait-----can you imagine what will be the reaction?

sir, What did Dr. kent means a cry, read the word carefully.
The next cry means collection of new or old symptomatology may be new remedy or same repeatation.

Kent was an intelligent person. He was an accurate prescriber.He was confident of his prescription. There can be no comparison with him. .

The patient consults for painful condition and we give him/her a dose and send him home and advise him/her for consultation, the next day.Sir,it is not fair.
