Homoeopathy At Its Best In Psychiatric Cases
Few years back, I got this wonderful oppurtunity to work on a project dealing with psychiatric diseases in a reputed Homoepathic Medical College and Hospital in Delhi. We ran our own psychiatric OPD and maintained the database of these cases so that eventually we can formulate a line of treatment for these disorders. It includes almost all kind of cases that we get in any book of medicine including generalised anxiety disorder, panic attacks, posttraumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, mental retardation, autism to name a few. I must say results with homoeopathy were much better and even faster when we compare them with the antipsychotic medicines they were taking. I will keep sharing some cases for each one of the disorders in this discussion.

To begin with we had case of Paranoid Schizophrenia
38/F came with certain strange complaints . She came alone, said that she feels that some Muslims are chasing her and showing her obscene videos. Said that she has been to Police Headquarters also with this complaint. Thinks her photographs are also being taken by those Muslims. Said she can actually see those obscene videos in front of her eyes. Also hearing voices doing obscene talks with her.( Hallucinations: visual and auditory).Was able to tell that she had similar problem last year also, says she took allopathic medicines for almost 6-8 months and then was better for sometime.On asking about her family, she says she has strong feeling of anxiety about her family, feels as if something will happen bad with her family.Married for 20 years, said after marriage she was harassed by her in-laws but she never used to fight back or reply to them, used to weep. Said there was not much support from her husband also.Before marriage her father was very strict, and she was reserved. Liked music and sports. But she was a teacher by profession, did her BEd. and was independent in her decisions and life.Said she has got a sixth sense, she gets to know things before they actually happen. Clairvoyance.She was prescribed homeopathic medicine Sepia 200 2 doses and was kept on placebo thereafter for 15 days. After 15 days she came back for follow up and all her symptoms including hallucinations were much better. She was subsequently followed for 1 year and gradually all her symptoms subsided and she was completely asymptomatic with no relapse during that phase.

Have you got any cases for psychopaths? That would be very beneficial to share...
Actually I would appreciate your input on a Sulphur case that I have. The patient is responding perfectly on Sulphur potencies ranging from 12C up to 1M for physical and emotional complaints. As for the mentals there is no change. Actually the patient does not complaint of anything, yet his close family and people around him are suffering from manipulations, deception, lying, feeling of being criticized and unappreciated, many relationships and infidelity, fighting social norms, inconsideration for others' rights and for consequences of their actions, inability to learn from his own experience..... etc
Would you consider it wise to try the Sulphur 10M, based on those around him, knowing that he himself does not complaint?
Also would you think - from experience dealing with psychiatric cases - that those pyschos would ever complaint?
