I think the best book is, Pocket Manual Of Homoeopathic Materia Medica And Repertory by W.Boericke ,M.D. It is very handy, very practicable and is being used by majority of homeopathic practitioners. It is like a bed-side prescriber.

The important aspects of books by Dr. Kent and Dr. Nash is that generals and modalities are well covered, which are important aspects along with particulars in deciding on a remedy.
