Steroids Cause Mysterious Cambodian Disease Kills Children Puzzled Solved

CNN Report | The WHO and the Cambodian Ministry of Health stay on alert. Still a mystery, scientists have discovered that 15 patients had Enterovirus Type 71 in their blood, while 64 children so far have died. Complication of pneumonia runs high.

  • Video by Sanjay Gupta | Mixed infections made worse by the use of steroids. Thus, the deaths were caused by the use of drugs. Read this again as spoken by physicians and virologists, "Steroids make the body weaker!"

  • World Health Organization| Severe complications of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) caused by EV-71 in Cambodia – conclusion of the joint investigation.

  • World Health Organization | Latest report

Families are told to bring in to the hospital any child especially under the age of 3 years old, who has cold type symptoms:

  • vomiting
  • fever
  • difficulty breathing
  • diarrhea
  • sores on hands, feet, mouth
  • drowsiness
  • inability to respond
  • brain swelling
  • convulsions

They consider this spread of this disease, although not contagious, a mysterious severe neurological and respiratory illness. This disease moves quickly and the children who contract the illness die within 24-48 hours as their lungs deteriorate.

As per typical treatments that have not been effective or designed for this unknown viral agent that appears to be similar to hand, foot and mouth disease:

  • antibiotics
  • antivirals
  • vaccines

As we learn about this problem, we also learn that India and Brazil institute massive use of homeopathic remedies to their populations against contagious disease based upon symptoms pictures.

Based upon the report below, there may be a connection to tainted medications.

The World Health Organization (WHO) and Cambodian health officials are involved with the investigations. Dr. Beat Richner, of the Kantha Bopha Children's Hospital, first alerted Cambodia's health authorities about the unknown disease July 6, 2012 when he tells that out of 66 cases, all but two have died.

International Health Regulations event information system made public health announcements to surrounding areas, but still many do not know about this disease. In Hong Kong, a major air hub in the region, health officials responded by alerting doctors to be watchful for patients returning from Cambodia who have respiratory symptoms. Travelers who have been to Cambodia were told to visit their doctors if they developed respiratory symptoms.

Richner said the patients suffered from encephalitis, which is the inflammation of the brain. "They are hospitalized," he said. "They arrive in our hospital, in the last moments... they die because their lungs are destroyed."

Here's John Benneth's take on the situation. As no surprise, he suspects the cause is what the medical profession would contend is the cure. In other words, what is toxic in crude form may be healing in potency.

What can be found in a vaccine in crude form, such as thimerisol, may be a healing agent in the similar potentized mercury or some mercury compound.

WHO REPORT

  • Based on the latest laboratory results, a significant proportion of the samples tested positive for enterovirus 71 (EV-71), which causes hand foot and mouth disease (HFMD). The EV-71 virus has been known to generally cause severe complications amongst some patients.
  • Additionally, a number of other pathogens, including dengue and streptococcus suis were identified in some of the samples. The samples were found to be negative for H5N1 and other influenza viruses, SARS and Nipah.

Homeopathic Approach
It appears that homeopaths would be taking all the symptoms for a holistic approach to this mysterious outbreak. Although the named epidemic of an enterovirus has been linked to HFMD on websites, I personally do not see the similarity. Rather, I would look at the inflammation in the brain, the 'clinging' behavior of the children, the fever,  and be particularly concerned with the lung function which seems to end up as pneumonia.

Bowel Nosodes have been used in the past to support the gastrointestinal tract and integrate good bacteria.

Belladonnais widely known for brain inflammation, sudden fever and onset of disease, flushed appearance and shock.

Apis mellifica for jealousy with the skin edema, inflammation and irritability

Stramonium and Pulsatilla have keynotes of 'clinging' and pulsatilla would not be desiring drinks, not thirsty.

Rhus toxicondron would apply if rash appeared with itchiness, blisters and malaise.

Natrum muriaticum if worse by sunlight and the array of symptoms from some form of grief in addition to herpes type skin symptoms.

Phosphorus to support the lungs, when the child desires fruit and cold drinks with flaring nostrils.

Do not confuse Foot and Mouth Disease with Hand Foot and Mouth Disease

The Use of Borax for Foot and Mouth Disease

  • Hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) is a common illness of children 10 and younger. The main symptoms are fever, mouth sores, and a blistery rash. It can begin with low appetite, sore throat, feeling sick, and a low fever. Painful mouth sores usually develop 1-2 days after the fever begins. These small red spots often blister and then become ulcerated. They can be on the gums, inside the cheeks, or on the tongue. The itchless skin rash is found on the palms and soles, sometimes the buttocks. Someone with HFMD may only have the mouth sores or the rash and not any of the other symptoms.

  • HFMD is a viral disease, often confused with foot and mouth disease that sheep, pigs, and cattle get (it is not the same). Normally this is not a serious disease in that patients usually recover without medical treatment in 7-10 days. HFMD is spread by contacting fluids from the nose, mouth, or blisters and from stool. There is no transmission to or from animals. Illness usually starts 3-7 days after becoming infected. The first week is the most contagious time.

  • There is no conventional treatment or prevention of HFMD. Good hygiene definitely helps limit the spread of the disease.

Grape seed extract contains antioxidants, which help prevent cell damage caused by free radicals (highly reactive molecules that can damage cell function). Preliminary studies have shown some beneficial antioxidant effects; however, more research is needed.

What is Coxsackie virus? Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease

  • Coxsackie virus is a member of the Picornaviridae family of viruses in the genus termed Enterovirus. Coxsackie viruses are subtype members of Enterovirus that have a single strand of ribonucleic acid (RNA) for its genetic material. The Enteroviruses are also referred to as picornaviruses (pico means "small," so, "small RNA viruses"). Coxsackie virus was first isolated from human feces in the town of Coxsackie, New York, in 1948 by G. Dalldorf. Coxsackie virus is also written as coxsackievirus.

What are the types of Coxsackie viruses, and what can they cause?

  • Coxsackie viruses are separable into two groups, A and B, which are based on their effects on newborn mice (Coxsackie A results in muscle injury, paralysis, and death; Coxsackie B results in organ damage but less severe outcomes.) There are over 24 different serotypes of the virus (having distinct proteins on the viral surface). Coxsackie viruses infect host cells and cause host cells to break open (lyse).

  • Type A viruses cause herpangina (painful blisters in the mouth, throat, hands, feet, or in all these areas). Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is the common name of this viral infection. Coxsackie A 16 causes the majority of HFMD infections in the U.S. It usually occurs in children (age 10 and under), but adults can also develop the condition. This childhood disease should not be confused with the "foot and mouth disease" usually found in animals with hooves (for example, cattle, pigs, and deer). Type A also causes conjunctivitis (inflammation of the eyelids and white area of the eye).

  • Type B viruses cause epidemic pleurodynia (fever, lung, and abdominal pain with headache that lasts about two to 12 days and resolves). Pleurodynia is also termed Bornholm disease. There are six serotypes of Coxsackie B (1-6, with B 4 considered by some researchers as a possible cause of diabetes in a number of individuals).

  • Both types of viruses (A and B) can cause meningitis, myocarditis, and pericarditis, but these occur infrequently from Coxsackie infections. Some researchers suggest Coxsackie virus (mainly Coxsackie B4) has a role in the development of acute onset type I (formerly known as juvenile) diabetes, but this relationship is still under investigation.

Homeopathic Clinical Repertory
by Robin Murphy 3rd Edition

The Homeopathic Clinical Repertory has already overtaken the other big repertories in the USA. It has the advantage of a simple alphabetic structure that makes it easy to use, so that even beginners can quickly find what they are looking for. Many homeopaths have confirmed that it is handy and practical – they say it is now the only work they use. It is just as comprehensive as the other big repertories (over 2.300 remedies).

One might think the WHO is deliberately spreading disease as a means of subtle population control.
