Creating Waves of Awareness
An old bedridden female patient had severe pain in the rectum that was appearing in paroxysms. She was admitted into a big hospital. They did an MRI, but found nothing abnormal. (Note: A rectal examination was never done.) Finally they “diagnosed” the case as psychological pain and started painkillers and anxiolytics, which made her troubles worse.
Now the patient has pain, but doesn’t feel the same, due to painkillers and other drugs. She is in fact not in a position to tell that she has pain.
This tendency is very common in modern medicine. If no pathology is found through diagnostic testing, the patient's troubles are often diagnosed as stemming from a psychological cause. Only their name is modern, but the concept is still the same.
Patients sometimes did not visit the right place and speciality for proper investigation and treatment. Otherwise most of the hospitals undergo complete investigations PRE, blood investigations and Non-invasive examinations too. In old times this statement can be true but now a days, they only say it hysterical or psychological or phantom pains if only after complete investigations nothing is concluded.
Good one and a very common situation. Here is one I encountered lately.
Patient, female, 40, returned from a flight, where she got a snack. About 4 hours later she felt sick, threw up, and had violent cramps. She was admitted to hospital. There, several tests were carried out for blood and urine. She was put to bed without medication and next day the consultant still had all tests clear.
Then a gastroscopy was ordered, which did not reveal anything. The second day the sick feeling was still there, but the cramps were a bit better. The next day the consultant had the solution, she must be pregnant, which she vigorously denied. The pregnancy test showed negative. Then I was called in.
Puls 200 c One Dose liquid put an end to the whole affair. The patient recovered to full health within 24 hours.
Thanks for the comments.
Even after doing 100% of investigations available till date, how can we say that the symptom without a lesion is due to psychological cause? Changes in all diseases are not visible to the human eyes.
Very true,we must appreciate that pain is nature's signal that there is a problem and homeopathy addresses the issue by tackling those symptoms which is concomitant to the pain.
Now a days, after the advent of all diagnostic tools, allopathic doctors depend only on the results of tests.
Not on what the patient says.
The dynamic aspect of the disease is more important than the end results.
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence :)
The critics of homeopathy recently organized a campaign by wearing a T shirt with an inscription- Homeopathy there is nothing in it. By doing so, they have just proved one thing: There is nothing inside their skull !!!
thats why modern medicine fails to CURE. they ignore what the patient has to say or what he wants to say. They would probe with all the modern machines and biochemical tests, irrespective of what the patient says. and if they find nothing, the patient is referred to have Psycho sympotoms. CAlling a Homoeopath and allowing him to treat would be the prudent choice.
