Help for Migraine Headaches
We've been doing a series of Health Inn Shows learning about migraines, and we previously had a show about vitamins. We may not have emphasized the role of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium for brain health and overall wellbeing.
Luckily, quinoa is an excellent source of magnesium, and when eating foods rich in magnesium may stave off headaches. Quinoa also provide riboflavin (vitamin B2) to support cells and energy metabolism within the brain and muscle cell structures. Take it from me, quinoa, when prepared just right, easily replaces your rice dish with high protein for long lasting energy.

For Raw Foodies, here are instructions to soak the quinoa and also buckwheat
3 cups soaked Quinoa (1 cup pre-soaked)
1 cup chopped grape tomatoes
½ cucumber, diced
1 green onion
Juice of ½ lemon
