I attended a seminar of Dr. Amarsinka D. Nikam of Pune (India) on 17th April 2011. He showed so many cured case histories. He cured many Pathologically Critical Diseases with only one dose of 30c potency Homoeopathic remedy. It is very surprising. CHIEF COMPLAINT –
1. Body ache- mostly in back and thigh, remain constant forever, ameliorated, by physical exertion.
2. Burning in urine – 3 years old complaint, burning like red paeper, constant burning, ameliorated by cold application.
3. Vision dim
4. Burning in feet – 3 years old complaint, ameliorated by cold application, aggravated by covering.
History –
All complaint onsets after malaria fever in history(17 years ago). Treated with allopathic medicine, That convert in jaundice, preceded in white discharge.
Pathology - Splenomegaly
Prescription -
First prescription - Nat- mur 1M on date 19/03/2011
patient report me on 21/03/2011 with detail of
Nausea and vomiting within 20 hour after the action of 1st dose. Severe headache, severe body ache, prominent in lower limb.
patient get relief in the following complaint
1. Improvement in dim vision complaint,
2. she has no burning feet now
Second prescription - Placebo
patient report on 28/03/2011
all complaint that feel by the patient dated on 21/03/11 like nausea and vomiting, etc. are subsided automatically,
but she has still body ache, and other remaining complaint,

Nat - mur 10M
patient report on 01/04/2011 with following complaint
Severe abdominal pain,
Headache - with sensation of expulsion of eyes
Chill fever - chill begin with upper extremities
Vomiting and nausea
Decentary
Restlessness
Mouth test bitter
01/04/2011
Placebo - Continue
patient report on 07/04/2011
with complaint of
1. Burning before and after urination
2. Backache

Placebo - continue
patient report on 14/04/2011
No complaint all symptoms remove
patient cure.
if the only selection of correct remedy is necessary for cure then why I have a need of Nat-mur 10M in this case, after the Nat-mur 1M?

You have given me a case history. But it is not elaborate one. OK.
But you have considered only Pathology and particulars.
If the correct similinum is Nat. Mur.30 itself should have cured that patient completely.
Please reconsider. and take the case again. Please concentrate Mind and PQRS, thermal status (Hot, cold, etc.), also consider the mayasams and then arrive the totality, then give the remedy arrived. Your patient will get cured. I am very happy to discuss like. I enjoy answering.

every case does not have every description
I have asked about the thermal status of the patient, but that is not marked in the patient. this is a case of suppressed malaria, fever and all the complaint present in the patent now, nothing but secondary diseases that was produced after the suppression of fever. now you considered what is the miasm of malaria fever. Nat-mur is correct remedy, no doubt. because it has cured the case according to hering law of cure, but not in 1m potency. my question is if the only correct medicine is needed for the cure so why she not get cured by 1m potency but by 10m potency?

Sorry, Lastly you have said that the patient was cured. But I did not get at the first listing. If the Nat. Mur. is the correct similinum one dose of any potency (May be 30c) of the same might have cured the patient completely. After given one dose we may weight for sufficient time.

if you give 200 or 1m potency to any patient according to symptoms, but there is no relief it means it is not correct remedy & same remedy give relief in 30 potency then it is correct.......

It is always tricky. Dr. Kent said similimum is not only the remedy but also the potency. I read in a case that the medicine failed in 6, 30,200,1000 but cured completely in 3X [decimal potency]. Such cases may be rare but we learn that, patients have different sensitivities to medicines. So we should keep every opinion in mind and try to cure the patient.

Do not you think it is a waste of time and in emegency it can be dangerous.The patient is in distress and we are experimenting with potencies.

There are many cases in our literature when the doctor had only 24M available potetncy and it worked.

Dear Dr Kuram,
In homeopathy there is only one scientific rule--- that the selection of curative homeopathic remedy must be based on the law of similar. Regarding potency. There is no such law. However, during treatment when the previous potency has stopped working you can go to the next higher. Or according to your experience you can say that at this stage 6C or 30C or any other will not give better result or cure will be delayed and then you selected a particular potency. This reason makes sense..

Dear Dr. Sajjad, I only avidly read many cases and note the way of treatment by the prescribers, especially regarding the potency selected. When I am obliged to treat, which, is very rare, I generally start with 30 and wait for indication of amelioration. I go up only after sufficient waiting period or on the observation that the action of the remedy stopped. The sensitivity of the patient is a grey area and any guidelines in this regard is only individual to a patient only. The patients are different from one another and so how they react to different potencies is also different.

T IS GENERALLY HELD THAT CURABLE DISEASE MAY BE CURED BY ANY POTENCY OF THE DRUG ,PROVIDED IT IS MOST HOMOEOPATHIC REMEDY TO THE DISEASE CONCERNED, but THE SPEED WITH WHICH THE CURE WILL BE EFFECTED DEPENDS ON THE POTENCY OF THE DRUG AS WELL.
