Capsicum in cluster headaches.

There have been recent studies in which Capsaicin (the active principle of Capsicum) cream, which has been used topically for Herpes zoster pain, has been applied intranasally for headaches. It has been used as a nasal spray with some success for Sinus and migraine Headaches.

Capsicum annuum / Cayenne Pepper

Synonym: hispanicum Piper, Piper and Piper turvicum indicus.
It belongs to the Solanaceae.
