Hamamelis Virginca in Varicose Veins
In varicose veins of leg, you will be delighted with the way in which the first or second dilution of Hamamelis Virginica will ease the pain, while the external application of the diluted tincture will cause the vessels to shrink up.

Hamamelis Virginica administered internall and applied as a lotion externally a compress covered with oil silk and a well applied is often specific. Loion : 1 part of strong tincture to 6 parts of water.

Hamamelis is the preferable drug in varicose veins unless constitutional symptoms call for Pulsatilla especially in cses of varicocele. Varicocele has been cured by Hamamelis, applied externally and taken internally.

The question whether Hammalis can actually cure Varicose Veins should be discussed first. Our old Text books do write a lot about Varicose Veins, but I have yet to see a cured case with documentary evidence. If someone has an experience of doing so, all visiting this site would be glad to read about their experiences.
