Which remedies have you found helpful in treating the thyroid?

It always remains an urge in human beings to create something new. But perseverance is essential to continue it for a long time.
This group was started last year in May 2010. I find some comments and nothing else. It hampers learning. In fact the beginning is unfair. We must start with introduction. As in this case I think the creator of the group should have added a few sentences regarding hypothyroidism. Then every visitor could comment over it.
In all thyroid cases the first and foremost requirement is diagnosis either it is hypo or hyperthyroiodism. T3, T4 and TSH come to the picture. Without these lab investigations the symptoms of the patient/s are of no value. After this test we come to know that the patient is suffering from which thyroidism.
So, it is my request to all colleagues to potentially take up the matter.
Dr. Neena has talked of weaning off the allopathic medicine ELTROXIN but has not yet replied to querries of the colleagues. I do not have inquisitiveness about it as I know that there can be no successful specific medicine for a particular state in homoeopathy.
Well said Dr. Rana. Both hypo & hyper thyroidism have their individual characteristic symptoms indicating the type of thyroidism but of course lab tests confirm the diagnosis. If somebody comes forward with some solved case that will really be beneficial & educative, Dr Neena may now take the lead.
