Has anyone used this remedy ( or it's salts)  and can give me some different clinical info than is in Scholten's book?

Thanks

Hi Rochelle

not homeopathy, but interesting info on Gadolinium

An overview about the chemical element Gadolinium

Lynn

Interesting!!!! Particularly because the patient I thinking of giving it to has skin lesions red , itching on upper arms!!! So thanks for that.

--------

Gadolinium is a contrast agent used in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance angiography (MRA). A contrast agent is a dye which is injected into your body to enhance the images. Iodine-based contrast agents are known to cause acute renal failure. Gadolinium is supposed to be much safer, but in patients with kidney disease, it appears to be causing NSF/NFD.

NSF/NFD Symptoms NSF/NFD can take days or week to develop. If the condition progresses rapidly, it can be fatal. Symptoms include:
Tightening and swelling of the skin, usually in the extremities, sometimes in the trunk of the body.
Thickening of the skin around the joints, restricting movement
Red patches on the skin
Skin which feels "woody" with texture similar to that of an orange peel
Burning, itching, and/or sharp pains in affected areas
Calcification of soft tissues
Symmetrical skin lesions, commonly on the ankles and thighs and between the wrists and upper arms
Muscle weakness
Deep bone pain in the hips and ribs
Yellow plaques near the eyes
Fluctuating preceding the appearance of skin legions

I have used Gadolinium where I would have previously given Nat - mur - if i hadn't been at Jan Scholten's weekend in London in 2010 - Gadol-mur reflected the case much more effectively and dynamically, many Nat-mur themes but with Lanthanide slant and quality.
Well I don't think Muriaticum will be correct for my patient as he is more Lyco/Plat/Europium wise guy. Was thinking maybe the Sulphate.
Well, I've used Gadolinium phosphoricum and Gadolinium carbonicum. What would you like to know exactly? Best, Ildikó
Any clinical perspectives which are not in Scholten' s book please. I am of course presuming that you had results with the remedy.
There were no different clinical perspectives.
Thanks
