The Body Is Attacking Itself

Please help find rubrics for when someone says, "I feel as if my body is attacking itself" "as if there is an infection going on."

This is not a healthy person.

this is very interesting sentence, could you please give some more information. It is challenging for me to find the rubrics first to understand the etiology. Do you know anything about what has happened before?

Could it be related to delusion, physical pain, hypocondrial situation, imagination or fear?

We are just looking at this concept that the cells in the body are doing harm. They do cause pain from this attack, making a kind of dysfunction of the immune system.

I wanted to focus on the concept that this something that has gone wrong with the body; it is not working properly. As if there is an infection that typically cells are FIGHTING within the body.

In this case the patient is very much concerned about his disease & his health. He thinks that some thing which is unrecognised is going on which is making him sick. I would go with the following rubrics:

MIND - DELUSIONS - disease - unrecognized disease; he has an
MIND - ANXIETY - hypochondriacal
MIND - DELUSIONS - sick - being
MIND - ANXIETY - health; about
MIND - FEAR - disease, of impending
MIND - ANXIETY - health; about - own health; one's

MIND - FEAR - health - ruined, that she has
