It’s a White World

Four days we walked through a most magnificent landscape, pretty as a Christmas card wherever we looked: snow, ice crystals, and rime. Words fail to express how breathtaking the view was, in the woods (Zoniënwoud) or the fields. In the company of two friends joining me for the whole trek and a few brave…See More

And More Snow….

The third part of the Walk in the Netherlands started with a visit in Nijmegen and a meeting at Huib Wijterburg’s place with colleagues and homeopathic doctors from his different study groups. He presented a patient whom he is treating for many years, and despite some progress and the satisfaction of the patient, the homeopath knows the breakthrough has not happened yet. This is the fate of many Nosode cases, people whose Vital Disturbance matches a bacterial or viral origin. We tend to narrow…See More

The First Snow

Looking out of my window this morning, the world was white. It was snowing! That is a little worrisome for the third trajectory of The Walk, planned to start within two days. I’ll walk to Nijmegen the 5th, teach life cases in Groesbeek on the 6th and then walk to Driebergen the next 5 days.On the 12/12/12 (!) we’ll have a celebration in Driebergen for the roundup of the walk in the Netherlands.…See More

Anne (° 15-10-1952) originally was trained in arts, graduated in Oriental Philology and Anthropology and took later courses in classical homeopathy first in Belgium and after that in the School for Homeopathy in Bloemendaal and Amersfoort in The Netherlands.

She established ‘The centre for Classical Homeopathy’ (CKH) in Leuven, Belgium, which organizes a five years training course, a Postgraduate course, a yearly seminar and an International Training. She created the programs and was teacher and director for 15 years.
She also has a private clinic since 1989 in Leuven.

Since the organisation of the CKH came into Christel Lombaerts hands, she established the company The White Room, to have a framework for publishing her books and organising her international seminars and Online courses.

In 2005 she started with a Postgraduate Class where she did exclusively life cases. As this format was successful, she started to give them in several countries (among which: Serbia, Holland, The Czech Republic and the USA). In her home town she gives those Master classes one a month.

After attending countless seminars, investigating, practising and teaching for more than 25 years now, she developed her own style and method. Staying firmly based in her classics and influenced by the contemporary newest insights, she has come to her own what she calls Vital Approach. It is a blend of old and new homeopathy, influences from phenomenology and linguistics and of course of a long term clinical practise.
This resulted in a method that is clear, pragmatic and effective. As a teacher she is appreciated for her clear and sharp mind, her humour and last but not least the sophisticated yet common sense way of case taking. Classes with Anne tend to be interactive and effective if it comes to improving your skill.

Apart from her novels and two books in Dutch (“Klassieke homeopathie, niet te geloven?!” And “250 jaar na Hahnemann”) –informative books for a broader public who want a decent but understandable insight in homeopathy- The White Room published two books of her in English: “The Charm of Homeopathy” and “The Postgraduate Annual 2006”. In the second book, she gives the fundaments of her method in a nutshell and demonstrates it’s value in daily practise, as well in children as adult cases. Those two were combined into one book, published by Bjain, in a second edition, under the title “The Charm of Homeopathy”. Another publication followed in 2009 “Behind the Glass Screen”.
A French version of “The Charm” was issued by Marco Pietteur, in 2008 as “Une Autre Vision de l’Homéopathie”.
“The Vital Appraoch” was her next publication, in 2010 by The White Room and a Dutch book with a selection of Master Class cases followed in 2011: “Voorbij Lichaam en Geest”. This latest book is in translation for the moment. It gives a detailed report of the cases with an extensive explanation of her method, and made easy comprehensible with questions and answers from the participants.

She created for RADAR/OPUS a set of schemes that come with the explanation in the book “The Vital Approach”, a Database of cases of “Rare Remedies for Difficult Cases” and series of Frequent Asked Questions video clips.

Nobody Out There

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 4:30pm 1 Comment

The day started with a crisp blue sky but no more than an hour later, dark grey clouds from oversea approached and tiny snowflakes danced down from the sky. It looked as if the seawater colored dark grey as well, contrasting with the snow covered beach.

Heavier snowfall for the next two hours resulted in the most amazing scenery:  the horizon disappeared, the sand at ebb tide got covered with a layer snow and the few people on the beach became vague shadows.  Snow on the…

Snow On The Beach…

Last days, listening at the weather forecast giving snow blizzards and Antarctic temperatures, one hesitates between doing something ‘brave and determined’ versus being ‘stupid and silly’.  The pitfall of thinking!  Too many thoughts lead to doubt.  When we feel no doubt, then this is a sure sign we follow our passion.

Hence I took the train when it was still dark this morning, and travelled through the most beautiful snow covered flatland, West Vlaanderen  (le plat…

Launching the Walk for Homeopathy in Belgium

Spending an afternoon in the sauna with the friend, who was going to join me the first day of the Walk in Belgium, was meant to set the tone.  The Walk should connect, link and heal but… being enjoyable as well.

And agreeable it was. We finally had (or made) enough time to catch up with each other while walking…
