What brought you to homeopathy? Tell your story here.
I have always been fascinated with the natural approach to things, learning young that if I listened to my body, I would more quickly come to the knowledge of what can help me heal. Then I became a mother, and my whole perspective on health and healing broadened, most especially when first my youngest son was dx'd with autism, then my eldest was dx'd with everything from bipolar, to asperger's, ODD, OCD, sensory/anxiety issues, etc. I found myself just hating that I was resorting to powerful antypsychotic medications to help control my eldest son, who was only about 6-- and this was when I learned what homeopathy was.
I took my first course in it and knew immediately this was what I was looking for for my boys-- and subsequently our whole family. A few years after I began my homeopathic journey, I was able to connect up with a well-known and respected homeopath. With her first meeting with my boys, my eldest answered a certain question in just the right way and she knew what he needed. With a single dose of a certain remedy, he has become a "normal, typical" boy. Still working with my youngest son, but he has come unbelievably far, to the point that many people don't realize anything has been amiss with him.
While nearly every form of medicine has its place, I believe homeopathy to be the only true art of healing. Because of what I have seen and experienced with it, I am absolutely convinced of this.
Check which applies. I . . .
Use homeopathy, am studying homeopathy, include homeopathy in my healing practice
What is your vision for the future of homeopathy
This is why I am joining this group. This is why I have started an e-mail list, Homeopathy-and-SN. Homeopathy is so powerful, so complete when it is properly used. And it is a threat to allopathic medicine, which has the money, power, and influence that homeopathy doesn't have.
It is my desire to network with as many like-minded people as I can to learn all I can and to join with you to speak out for homeopathy. There is power in education, power in knowledge. And I think this is what is going to promote homeopathy.
There is power in history as well. Homeopathy once held its own here in the USA-- it was a given for people that it worked. I believe with education and networking together, a strong case for the re-emergence of homeopathy to be accepted once more for the powerful healing medium it is is well underway.
Why I have joined this network. . .
I want to promote homeopathy, I want to meet like-minded people, I want to learn more about homeopathy, I want to find an expert homeopathy, I want to advocate for homeopathy, I want to be involved with the homeopathic community at large
What is your background? It can be other backgrounds & careers. Prof. Degrees? You may direct people to your blog.
I am a wife and mother to three beautiful children. I have a degree in music, grew up in the USA, but have lived in Canada and Germany. I have taken two online courses in homeopathy and have recently begun David Little's online studies. We've been moving around quite a bit the last couple years, so it has unfortunately been difficult for me to focus the time David Little's courses will need, but I so anticipate doing this. I work hard to educate myself, my family, and anyone who will listen to me about homeopathy.
How has homeopathy changed your life? Take a moment to think about your answer.
Learning to look at my body, at my whole self in the complete way I've been learning through studying homeopathy has enriched tremendously my view of what health truly is. It makes perfect sense, that health is not simply alleviating this or that symptom, but must be considered on a physical, emotional, and mental level. I teach this to my children, to my husband, to my friends (who are open to this). I see it helping them all. My friends will ask me for my input when they're not feeling well-- they tell me they don't want to go to the doctor to just be given another pill. Of course, being nowhere near a licensed or degreed homeopath, I'm very careful in what I tell them. But they like the fact that I'm helping them not just look at their symptoms, but at their "whole picture."
Homeopathy has saved our family I don't know how much in medical costs. Because self sufficiency is something very central to us, this is very important to me as well.
The miracle healing that took place in my eldest son has told me that, unquestionably, homeopathy works.
What are your interests besides homeopathy? Inquiring minds want to know.
my family, my religion, music (classical- perform, conduct, compose), the outdoors

Hi Cathy !! Yes, I agree... I too wish I had more time for all the projects I would love to do...
We live in the upper north of Germany, 100 km away from Hamburg. I once have been in Braunschweig, do remember that I liked the architecture of the old houses. I can imagine German to be a very difficult language to learn, and as always it is even more difficult if practice is lacking. I love Spanish, the language is like music for me. And playing piano, but I'm only in my 2nd year, self-teached, slowly but steadily progressing. Love classics, the "old" masters - same as in homeopathy ! Their music just had a different dimension, Beethoven (!), Graig, Bach, Liszt etc. Two boys and a girl... thats nice too, they are such a joy in our life ! Yes, I started David Little's course long ago, try to work daily on one lesson, it is stuff for years but full of precious informations to get a deeper understanding of homeopathy.
What do you play, trumpet ?
I hope to hear more from you !!

Hi Cathy ! French horn, wow ! You are a real professional ! I like wind instruments too, my grandfather was playing tuba, but unfortunately there is not enough time to learn all the instruments...
Yes, I too practice foreign languages mainly through literature, but Hahnemann did it in the same way and learned a lot !
How old are your kids ? Let me know when you will be in Germany !
