Homeopathic Case Taking Questionnaires and Individualisation

Posted on April 16, 2009 at 8:00am 1 Comment

I have a patient who cannot use the phone due to a tinnitus condition (amongst other things) so I am part way through creating a questionnaire. I thought ..oh great I can pop this on my website as a download which patients can fill in and email back to me...so far so good

Now male and female differences aside we know homeopathy is about individualisation and I am very aware just how completely different my patients are one from the other ...sooo now wondering is the questionnaire good… Continue

Hi Fiona,
Thanks for connecting and for your kind comments on my website.
I use a form with all patients prior to their first consult so i can focus on the more information that I want to know and they want to tell but i still get all the basics covered ...
http://www.thehomeopathiccoach.com/homeopathy-clinic/
However I have an elderly mostly deaf new patient coming in next week and of course she will not be using the internet and is the patient I need most to fill out the form! I will let you know how I get on with comunication and casetaking but i think it will be an interesting experience.
Has anyone else treated deaf patients? I would be interrsted in hearing about your experiences?

I wondered if this might of been the case! I'm also a Lakeland graduate!
I did my first year at the Yorkshire School and then transfered to Lakeland to complete my training, one of my better moves!
Terribly sad news to hear about Beth Tyers, I remember her very fondly.
Do you ever go back to the college?

Yes...we are quite close, good to see someone else in 'my neck of the woods'!
