What brought you to homeopathy? Tell your 150 word inspirational story that connects you to homeopathy. How has homeopathy changed your life?
My children: I didn't want to give them toxic drugs.
Check which applies. I . . .
Use homeopathy, am studying homeopathy, am a homeopath, include homeopathy in my healing practice
What is your vision for the future of homeopathy
Homeopathy has the potential to grow and become the medicine of choice for many, providing the "skeptics" and regulators don't prevent this from happening. It would be wonderful to see Homeopathy accepted and used on a par with so-called "conventional" medicine, as is the case in India.
Why I would like to join this network?
I want to promote homeopathy, I want to meet like-minded people, I want to learn more about homeopathy, I want to advocate for homeopathy, I want to be involved with the homeopathic community at large
Write detailed background to introduce yourself. What school did you attend? Year of graduation? Degree or diploma? Where do you practice?
Born in New Haven, Connecticut, brought up in the Boston area, then lived and worked as a translator for 17 years in France where I met my British husband. I moved to the UK in 1988 and have raised two daughters here. I love France but had I stayed there, I would not have become a homeopath. I now have a decade of practice behind me, am chair of the West London Homeopaths community group and, along with two other homeopaths, run Phoenix Talks seminars for homeopaths.
If you do not have an reference so that we can verify your homeopathic status, please send a copy of your homeopathy diploma and association certificates to HWCmembers at gmail dot com
It has been a major career change and it has helped me to overcome not only recurrent sinus infections but also fears and shyness.
What are your interests besides homeopathy? Inquiring minds want to know.
Family, ski-ing, tennis, horse-riding, languages, travel, cinema, art.

Hi Helen,
I'm just discovering the wonders of this site, there is so much going on here it's amazing...

i saw louise's comments on the HH website about 1023, and watched the video - what a joke! they really didn't know what they were doing and looked very disorganised. it was so obviously a publicity stunt with no real substance to it (unlike our little placebos - eh?) thanks for the two of you going down there on behalf of the rest of us, sorry i couldn't be there with you on the day.

thanks for the compliment on my photo. my daughter took it, she's a very good photographer if i say so myself (proud parent and all...).
hope to see you soon, maybe at rajesh's for lunch?

Keep your head cool. If they like cabbage they will take lettuce and carrot. Broccolli cauliflower and cababge are all right, but not dailly. A little garlic can work, but if worms are your concern, there are other methods like Choenopodium anthelminticum for instance (known as Epazote in Mexican cuisine, it's delicious) it is preopared homeopathically.Remember that variation is the key for BARF. I also give rinsed eggshels to my dog.
Greetings from Mexico!

Hello Helen,

I think that egg is not a problem, but always cooked. The clear must be cooked. As to giving suplements, it is better to give brewer's yeast than specific suplements, because an excess of any vitamin of the b complex will cause excretion of it, but also of the others. When you give brewer's yeast you will achieve balance, because it contains all. I don't quite remember if you give cabbage, brocolli and cauliflower to your dogs. These have to be alternated with other vegetables, because crucipherae sñow down metabolism. Try to avoid garlic and onion, because they are slightly toxic for dogs.

Greetings from Mexico!
Can I add you as a friend?

Hi Helen,

I read your post on your dog's otitis. B complex vitamins (specially biotin) have been demonstradted to be important for ear resistance to infections. Adding a raw egg leaves avidin a tiamine bonding protein present in the albumina of eggs free to sequester biotin. This can cause an artificail biotin deficiency. Paradoxically eggs are a great biotin sourde, but at least the clear of the egg must be cooked.

Best regards from Mexico,

Nacho Cabrera
