DIFFERENT ACTIONS OF HIGH AND LOW POTENCIES OF THE SAME REMEDY
It has been observed by many homeopaths that in some remedies the effect of the remedy changes dramatically depending upon the selection of potencies.

Refused Food, Nausea, Vomiting
He was just two and half years old and had been refusing most food since a couple of days. This morning he had vomited nearly all of his breakfast. Whatever food or drink was offered to him was vomited. He refused to drink water saying that he felt nausea.

Has glass memory ?
What happens when we reuse a glass bottle which previously contained a homeopathic remedy? Is washing it with detergent or soap enough or should it also be boiled with water mixed with baking soda ? What about pastel and mortar that is use to triturate different material? What do the manufacturing companies do with utensils of stainless steel and glass tubes in their laboratories after making one remedy and starting the next one?
Can any member shed light on the… Continue

Fishbone Stuck In Throat
A boy in his teens , our neighbor and relative , got a fish bone stuck in his throat while enjoying a meal of fish and rice. He was brought to me at about five in the evening in much distress. The fish bone seemed to have been lodges deeper in the throat near the opening of esophagus. The remedial measure of swallowing a mouthful of flat bread without much chewing had been tried albeit unsuccessfully.
I remembered a similar case Some years ago when a girl of… Continue

I am sorry that I have been away from HWC since a few months, and yes I missed it!
I was busy with a scheme which could benefit millions of poor people who live in remote rural areas and have no access to medical facilities. The idea was to make a kit of 20 polychrest remedies mostly needed for the common ailments in those areas. The remedies were given numbers from one to twenty and easy instructions were provided for their indications. A literate person is chosen and trained… Continue

My thanks to Dr Garry and Vladimir for offering the free computerised repertories. I am sure we will be able to make good use of them. Also my thanks to Debby for providing the network of HWC which made it possible to know and befriend like minded people.
I am overwhelmed by the scale of the suffering of the people and it seems what we are doing too little, it is like a drop in the ocean. But then I recall the story of the little girl who was busy tossing back to the sea some among… Continue

I wish a happy and prosperous new year to all fellow members. May your life be full of joy, happiness, health and prosperity.
Here are some quotes that I wish to share with you;
Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. ~Hal Borland
Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man. ~Benjamin Franklin

I think that in response to attacks on homeopathy we should be PROACTIVE and not REACTIVE.
We should not be provoked into counter-attacks and condemnation of other systems. This attitude is always counter productive. We should persistnently and patiently keep educating and guiding the people on the merits of homeopathy. Our attitude should be that all inventions, medical procedures and systems which can be of benefit to humanity should be avaialable to all to chose from.… Continue

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF……………
I have a question which often comes to my mind. I would like to put this question to fellow members.
What would you do if some one is bitten by a rabid dog and you are the one to decide on the treatment?
Would you go straight away for the vaccine (allopathic treatment) or would you opt for the homeopathic treatment.
If you opt for the homeopathic treatment then would you immediately give the nosode Lyssinum as prophylaxis or would you… Continue

Ten years ago a young boy came to my clinic seeking cure for a wart on the tip of his index finger. He seemed very uncomfortable about it because nearly everyone who shook his hand seemed to take notice of it. He was ready to have it surgically removed but wanted to try homeopathy first. He had no other problem.
For warts the remedies that immediately come to mind are Thuja, Causticum, Nitric acid, Dulcamara etc.
While observing him I noticed that his lips were a bright red, as if he… Continue

In our welfare clinic We are dispensing remedies in water according to the 6th edition of the oraganon. Five globules of the remedy to be dissolved in cupful of( boiled)water and a teaspoonful from it according to directions. It lasts for a week after which it must be discarded. For some patients it is to be plussed i.e. the bottle to be succused according to directions.

“I want a leave to be able to go back to my village” said our gate-keeper with a worried look on his face.
“But, why so soon? You only came back less than two months ago! ” I exclaimed.
Sir, my wife is pregnant, is in her nine month and when she was taken to the city for a check-up the lady-doctor told her that the child was in wrong position and they will deliver through big operation (meaning breech presentation and a need for a caesarean section )”
“I am poor and the operation… Continue

Thank you Dr wequar, Debby, Dr. Rafique, Dr Shibi, for giving your valuable time to read and comment on the topic. The near specifics do not replace the need for individualization and reportorisation of a case. I have deliberately avoided mentioning the remedies belonging to the group . Therapeutic books and repertories are full of them. If any remedy fits the case it must be tried. Here I am mentioning the near-specific which works in majority of cases which present only the symptoms common to… Continue
