Alchemy and Homeopathy

Man has always searched for the truth, the nature of existence...
So what does that have to do with alchemy and homeopathy?
What is Alchemy? Is it transforming lead to gold? Or, is it, on the spiritual level transforming human soul from lower vibration to higher ascendant vibration, from heavy physical aspect of being to lighter immaterial way of being?
It is the integration of the whole, the combining of conscious and subconscious, the two opposite paradoxes. It is the way of knowing and the way of being. It is learning how to remember the future.
Hauck says: " The finding of truth or reality requires amalgamation of both rational and irrational methods of knowing, a joining of thought and feelings"
In alchemy the purest state of a thing is alchemical gold, and that is the state that the alchemist is trying to achieve.
According to Hauck:
" The alchemist's idea of :mind of nature" was very similar to our notion of evolution. Over time nature seems to be perfecting itself.
Jean Debuis says:
"Alchemy is the art of manipulating life and consciousness in matter
" To help it evolve, or to solve problems of inner disharmonies. The alchemists believe that everything carries an energetic seed or pattern of it's own perfection and it is the job of the alchemist to bring them to light and allow their full expression in time and space. They use this guiding pattern of perfection as an inner spirit that exists in all matter, from a dull lump of lead to a living human being." ( Hauck, 2004, 5).
The "Philosopher's Stone" is the ultimate achievement of the alchemist. Physiologically changing lead to gold means transforming unconsciousness to consciousness, and the consciousness is nothing but the Philosopher's Stone.
Isn't this what we want to achieve as homeopaths? or even as humans? Aren't we trying to bring out the gold that's in ourselves and our patients?
Didn't Hahnemann devote his life to find the philosopher stone of disease? To transform disease to ultimate health? To transform the heavy lead of human soul to bright and pure gold that we all have inside?

At the start of modern times alchemy and chemistry as we know it today were not that far apart. Hahnemann held a degree in chemistry and had a profound knowledge of alchemy.
Hahnemann also was a freemason, and wherever he moved joined the local lodge. The process of dynamization an potentization of which Hahnemann wrongly claimed to be his invention was well known to alchemy and freemasons at his time.
So – there is a dimension to homeopathy, Hahnemann never wrote much, and the lodges don’t give any detailed information either.

As a 33 degree Mason, I can tell you a few things. In fact, the transformation of lead to gold was a spiritual process, but the Philosopher's Stone is not merely consciousness but the attainment of Unconditional Love, or self-realisation. The soul is a unit of unconditional Love and self realisation means the development of that Love. Consciousness is the symptom of all living things and thus has no special significance other than the symptom of the soul.

The Lodges do not give information, because one has to be initiated first in several steps to enable understanding. Before initiation one has to study and master some texts, some of which deal with mathematics and the connections to music. Each degree has its own study and texts and the culmination results in self-realisation, if all paramters are properly followed.

If you really want to know more, I suggest you read "The Secret Teachings of all Ages", by Manly P Hall, available through Penguin books. That will teach you a great deal about Freemasonry.

“Knowledge to love; love to likeness; likeness to communion; communion to virtue; virtue to dignity; dignity to power; power equals the miracle.

“Knowledge to love means that mercury must pass the stage of copper first. Love to likeness, may indicate Mars and iron - thus copper to iron. Likeness to communion refers possibly to the relation between the earth and Mars, hence from iron to another metal, which I do not know.
“Communion to virtue is from that metal to tin and so on, till we end up with gold. The process is generally through fire, with the help of sulphur and salt, vitriol and other ingredients, which are not clear from those words.

He admonished his followers and fellow alchemists to make medicine and not waste time trying to make gold. From the sequence we can also see that those who interpreted it did not know that Gold equals Love, since boith belong to the heart.

Paracelsus could be said to be the first homoeopath, because he was the first to reduce and dynamise the dose. Hence hahnemann was indeed not the first to dynamise medicine and not its inventor, as Hans so clearly stated.

I would greatly appreciate any other feed back and information regarding this subject.
My research paper is titled "Homeopathy a search for Philosophers' stone" and the hypothesis is :
" How is homeopathy connected to Alchemy?"
I need to write a proposal on how I am going to conduct my research, right now there is a sea of information coming my way and I am pleasantly overwhelmed by it...I need some feed back on how to write up my proposal...
