An Appeal and Message to all members of Homeopathy World Community (HWC)

Dear Respected Colleagues,

Greetings from Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies in Homeopathy (BCASH), Dhaka.

I would like to inform you that I sent a message to the honorable Secretary General, UN on dated 28.04.2010 to establish 10^th April as “World Spiritual Health Day” in honor of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.

I also take opportunity to inform you that my attempt on the 10^th April being accepted as “World Spiritual Health Day” as it created a lot of interest among lovers, Scientists, Researchers, all walks of people and renowned personalities including Dr. Fredrik Schroyens, Dr. Jawaher Shah, Pierre Schmidt’s Foundation, Homeopathic Medical Association (UK).

As a lover of truth, all members of Homeopathy World Community should have responsibility to support it and impress upon jointly to UN/ WHO Secretary General for acceptance of the proposal in the UN system.

Dr Karim please clarify if you received any acknowledgment from UN on this noble thought. If there was any communication , please publish it for benefit of all HWC members.

If not then we can start a signature campaign for this as it is a worthy cause for glory of Homeopathy;

Comment by Dr. Md. Suja Uddin Mia on December 28, 2010 at 5:14am: It is a big effort of Dr. Md. Fazlul Karim, my teacher. To establish the proposal all members of HWC should work together. I and my teacher Dr. Md. Fazlul Karim together prepared the proposal sent it to the UN Secretary General to establish it in honor of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. Now it is the responsibility of all the members of HWC, I think.

I hope you will get some positive feedback from them. My humble suggestion is: Instead of “world spiritual health day”, “world homeopathy day” is the better option, because there is already a “world
health day”. Of course, there will be strong opposition from the people
severely infected with “homeophobia”. But, we should not bother about them.
Since we are already celebrating world homeopathy day, it will be a great achievement
to celebrate the same authentically under UN approval.

Comment by Suhas Kotbagi on January 3, 2011 at 1:32am: Given the fact that an action has already been initiated by Dr. Karim, at the highest level of UNO, to make April 10th as "world spiritual health day", I think we should support him and his effort without any reservation or name change etc...If Dr.Karim was to float this idea before sending it to UNO, then it would have gained may be a better name and as well we could have done a signature campaign for this undertaking, but given the situation, we can only support it now...
