Grass Roots ; Need of standardisation in homeopathic education the need of the hour.

Hello friends,

For years we have been receiving constant criticism to homeopathy and the followers.
Everywhere throughout the world our system doesn't enjoy the status which it should deserve.
Most of the time after every research claiming homeopathy as null we shrink back to our shelves our only defense being 1.it has survived for 200 years 2. celebs using homeopathy 3. it works in animals and kids.
but do we question ourselves as to who, how these studies are conducted.
how do they decide the guidelines.
obviously the guidelines adopted are those by the modern school of thought because we don't have any standardized guidelines of our own.
question 1. ARE THEY or US RESPONSIBLE for this state of affairs.....
2.can we define ourselves..?

if you see most of the cases gone bad. it is nothing but the negligence of the homeopath to understand a condition going bad.
or failure to understand the disease condition..
or sticking to a particular understanding of a remedy or thematic prescriptions

the idea is to build a strong base where clinical medicine is foremost........
learn to recognize signs symptoms of diseases........learn prognosis........
learn remedies from materia medica from texts....from source books...materia medicas
learn modern medicine anatomy , physiology, clinical medicine , surgery pediatrics
schools imparting knowledge of modern medicine should come up.
with lot of clinical knowledge......... patients treated with organon , materia and repertory as base..

at present hardly proper schools exist, the post graduation is not proper, everyone is making themes and assumptions without documentation seminars are held and the speaker is awed...clapped...videos.......people spend money attending them though will hardly see category of a that kind of patient in practice.

if you want proper studies to be conducted the need of hour is proper training institutes imparting quality education........at both graduate and post graduate level.........
it is high time we fight back with clinical backed evidence...............

we need standardization in education , more global bodies coming up in homeopathy.....not promoting a particular homeopath or someone's views but system as a whole

REMEMBER THERE ARE SUCCESSFUL HOMEOPATHS BUT NOT SUCCESSFUL INSTITUTIONS IN HOMEOPATHY. THE ONLY WAY TO CHANGE THINGS IS TO HAVE INSTITUTIONAL BASED RESEARCH.
AND SUCCESSFUL INSTITUTES..
WE NEED SOMETHING LIKE AIIMS (ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES FOR HOMEOPATHY.
WE NEED GLOBAL BODY CONTROLLING HOMEOPATHIC EDUCATION..AND RESEARCH...PROMOTING PROPER CLINICAL MEDICINE AND HOMEOPATHY

evidence based medicine is need of the hour......

I agree standardization is needed yet for this to take place as an Institute for Homeopathy there is in need of a huge integration of the various Philosophical wavelengths which compose Homoeopathy.

In addition I have to say that the college I go to does not run a government or institutionally biased policy, it runs its own - and I do not agree that that freedom should be taken away.

A consensus should be made, an agreement on action for homeopaths for the best for our patients, and clinical presentations made with our accumulating research.

I am in my second year of studying Homeopathy and have already begun making links between the Homeopathic system with principles used in ancient Greece and ancient Chinese medicine. These are not just thoughts I have made out of the blue but are based on the materia medica and Hahnemann's system - I have simply made connections to principles of healing like Homeopathy- and these connections are working. Although I have not tested these extensively the results so far are looking promising that these connections exist.

This leads me to say that if there were such a standardization of homoeopathic education this should be realised to be a delicate process and not hurried.

This is an important topic which probably needs a panel of experts in teaching and practice to discuss the pros and cons, how such standardization can come about and integrate the many methodologies based upon the core principles, and develop acceptable programming. There may be different channels, of which Jonathan Shore has spoken on many occasions, that guide practitioners to become expert in their field. To be inclusive of all teachers that have shown successful cases enables us to retain our community with respect and unity.

if you don't know surgery,pediatrics how will you know what is happening
most of us don't even know simple conditions.........complications
simple things like rehydration etc etc..........
we clap in the seminars gross pathologies treated .............
and neophytes are shown cases of cancer being treated.........just to glorify the speaker and his school of thought
damaging homeopathy at large........
