Creating Waves of Awareness

It is quite common among the
patients or some time among Doctors also, to take any medicine as
homeopathic, if it is labeled as homeopathic medicine by the
manufacturer.If we ask :

Is Quinine a homeopathic remedy?
Answer : No

Is Tinct. Cinchona a homeopathic medicine?
Answer : Some say no, some yes, some hesitant.

Is cinchona Q a homeopathic medicine?
Answer : yes

Is china 200 a homeopathic remedy?
Answer : Yes of course.

But the reality is neither quinine nor Tinct. Cinchona, nor Cinchona Q, nor China 200, is an allopathic or homeopathic
medicine per se. These are all simply medicines.A medicine does neither
become allopathic or homeopathic by dint of its name , nor according to
the name of the manufacturer or even the professional label of the
prescriber.

In fact a drug becomes a medicine when made suitable for prescription. A medicine becomes a remedy, when applied against a
particular diseased condition.

A REMEDY BECOMES HOMEOPATHIC ONLY WHEN APPLIED ON THE BASIS OF SYMPTOM SIMILARITY. ANY REMEDY PRESCRIBED
ON ANY OTHER BASIS OR PRINCIPLE, CAN BE ANY THING, OTHER THAN
HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINE.

Potency is a process not principle. In fact a homeopathic medicine is believed to be more effective when its active ingredient is diluted: this is the minimum dose approach of homeopathy. The purpose of potency is to dilute the active ingredient until it can do no harm and to invigorate the base substance with energy such that the qualities are preserved while the substance itself is diluted out

Thanks for posting this. A remedy becomes homeopathic when it is administered in suitable potency and dose, on the basis of symptom similarity. Once the drug has done its job, it should not be repeated, because it will not be homeopathic to the case at that point of time.

Please read the above once again, and you will find that my reference is to Homeopathic prescriptions only.

Dear members

A medicine which is produced according to the procedure of dilution combined with dynamization and potentisation, is a medicine called: potentised, dynamized and diluted medicine.

A medicine used according symptom similarity becomes homeopathic, as only the application determines if it's homeopathic (or not).

It does not matter for homeopathicity, if the medicine is in its crude state or in its potentised, diluted and dynamized preparation. (as long as its a medicine)

As a result -- we can treat perfectly homeopathic with mother tinctures, if they are applied according symptom similitude.

Hans Weitbrecht
