My Experience with Nosodes

Medorrhinum 1m (1 dose)

I have never been given such a miserable experience by any remedy as this one. Experienced a bruised back all along the spine. Could not sit, stand or walk easily, and the whole spinal region was hurting.

The heart rate was altered and i could feel the throbs which worried me. These faded away probably in a weeks time. I didn't give it another try fearing it could worsen. Surprisingly, I didn't find the heart symptom in Boericke, but found this in G. Vithoulkas Essence of M.M. where he had given a special caution for those with significant heart pathology.

Tuberculinum 1m:
It has a wonderful effect, especially in relation to emotional levels.

Tuberculinum has perfectly calmed down my emotional self, irritable feelings. This probably could be due to the inherited taint. I liked the 1m potency so much that i took 10 m after some days and the emotions did go to best ever levels.

The remedy did create some uncomfortable congesion type of pain in the kidney region.

Some other symptoms I did experiece for a short span, like altered taste in mouth, loss of apetite, which was surely a proving and went away by itself within 2 to 3 days.

I was somehow trying out to find out the emotional balancing remedy for some time and i did try Lycopodium cm potency but no benefit, rather it increased my spending habit. (Lycopodium, a truly misers remedy), but

Tuberculinum clicked in the end for me. To my observation, in addition to Sepia, which replaces hate with love feelings, Tuberculinum inculcates love while normalizing the emotions (home and social environment) and making you a more of a normal person. (All this applies provided the Inherited taint/tuberculur history and other symptoms , BCGs etc).

Kent has given some of the best cured cases in his notes using this remedy especially the emotional/raging kid he had to struggle to give this remedy, as well as, the Tubercular History Love and Mental Ability Revived-(Clinical cases)

- Although naturally of a sweet disposition became taciturn, sulky, fretful, irritable, morose, depressed and melancholic, even to insanity (Hering).

Comment by Dr Gopal Patel on October 9, 2012 at 9:21pm: Did you take medorrhinum 1 m ? As I give it quite frequently for lower back pain . But I give it in 200 , I myself suffered from lower back pain and I kept taking it in 200 each 10 days and the symptoms would come back when I did a daring act by taking it in 0/30 one dose and pain gone I repeat the same once again once in 10 months and then never needed it.
Btw it all started 10 years ago where it was difficult to even drive a car for 2 hrs I could not even put my leg down after driving , morning also it would be to stiff.
For nosodes it's best to try 200 and then increase to 1 m once u know the duration of action in the patient , in cases symptoms come up its always better to wait or take 200 or 30 again.

Comment by Dr Gopal Patel on October 13, 2012 at 4:14am: My back pain started since 3 days more after rising from chair or sitting while I can feel the pain now and it's been jan 2011 since my last dose of med 0/30 nearly 20 months .
Had taken 1 dose of med 0/30 yesterday and writing all the changes I am facing in my medicine diary.

Comment by Adil Jamshaid on October 13, 2012 at 9:22am: Is this the LM potency(till 30 dilution) that you are using? Do you have any experience regarding treating chronics,i mean the inherited ones. Like youself, I have been taking a number of homeopathic remedies and i have certainly cured myself out of alot of problems faced during lifetime. One was a tired/weary back problem and to my surprize phosphorus did the trick, though i wasnt using Phos for tired back. In your case if it crops again,it makes me wonder, as its already a deep acting remedy.

Comment by Dr Gopal Patel on October 13, 2012 at 9:39am: It is the 0/30 in LM when it reappears its better to repeat , I will discuss how I reached to 0/30 in my psoriasis cases may be tommorow had made a chart of the effect of centisimal and LM in 0/1, 0/3, 0/30 etc and its effects and duration and when it reappears .
Taking medicine by self we learn more and become confident.
As each person is different its beret u monitor when ur symptoms come back again repeat the same potency and observe till the repeat frequency is the same then go for a higher potency.
Cure is there is many complaints but many times it may relapse after few years due to the maintaing cause . I we are taking medicines personally we can recollect and calculate exactly what would happen next all this requires good observation and time but it helps you when you need it and its better if you keep a diary of your own symptoms it helps on time .

Comment by Adil Jamshaid on January 3, 2013 at 10:23am: My followup from where i left, i went on to try Tuberculinum CM and no other particular symptom except for the frequent urination which was there with 10m potency, infact for a month or so.

After this i again tried to test Medo 1m , now nothing happened so after a week or so i dared to go for Medorrhinum 10m, sleep went deep enough and after some days i went on to try it in CM potency without any change felt.

I think the taint i had when i tried Medorr 1m and Tuberculinum 10m initially was all that was present within which was overcome with relevant homeopathic nosodes. Both these are very important remedies for curing chronic miasms namely Sycosis and Pseudo psoric(Tubercular).
