NPR story of cleaning oil off of birds with soap with petroleum in it...

DanaUllmanJuly12010

According to a NPR report, the best way to clean the oil off of birds is with DAWN SOAP because it has petroleum in it. This fact confirm the basic principle of homeopathic medicine: treat "like with like" (an important method of immunology). It is a little like taking GUM out of the hair of a kid...with GUM!

From the article, it says: "What the company doesn't advertise — and these ...days is reluctant to admit — is that the grease-cutting part of the potion is made from petroleum."
