Selection of potency

selection of potency is always a big question; here I tried something in this matter. I am posting some points for selection of potency which I tried to make according to thought of Dr. Vijayakar i.e. Homoeopathy is mathematics.

Our living-body is made up of two plane, one is mental/ intellectual/ immaterial, and second is physical/ materialistic. And importance is given from mental (MAN- immaterialist) to physical (BODY-materialist) and more destructive miasm to less or from syphilis to psora.

The potencies are available with us from 3 to CM i.e. from more materialistic to immaterialistic form.

On physical plane :
• 3 or 6 potency for hard/ shallow sycosis like hard tumors, blind hemorrhoids, sexual desire decreased etc.
• 30 potency for sycosis-excess like soft tumors, hypertension, diabetes, hyperthyroid, sexual desire increased, nasal catarrh etc.
• 200 potency for syphilitic disease like Necrosis and apolysis, impotency etc.

Imp: syphilitic disease on physical plane appear as more of liquefy rather then hardness or softness i.e. between sycosis and psora without doubt it comes after sycosis.

• 1M potency for psora like irritation/ pain etc.

On mental plane,
• 1M potency for sycosis hard/less i.e. obsession, permanent fear, persisted thought, lack of confidence, timidity, reserved, rigidity etc.
• 10M for mental sycosis excess boasting, show off, braggart, squandering, foppish, adulterous, dogmatism, lasciviousness etc.
• 50M for syphilitic : destructiveness, rage, perversion, sexual desire aversion (in reproductive age), Homosexuality etc.
• CM for psoric manifestation like sympathy, benevolence, kindness, conscientiousness etc. (if results in pathologic)

Imp:
• Ultimate cure ultimate
• Mental plane is more important then physical plane i.e. if we find sycotic symptoms/sign on physical and mental plane both, then the selection of potency is from mental plane.
• Miasms are more important then any plane i.e. if we find sycotic mental with syphilitic physical then selection of potency will be from physical syphilitic ground.
• We can increase and decrease potency according to the sensitivity of the individual.

It is only Homoeopathy which individualize among all pathy by its unique discovery i.e. MIASM-the only true disease, yes I try to select potency according to the miasm as I said in my post & getting very nice results.

i practically use potencies up to DMM ( 10 MM )and sometimes feel that they too are insufficient to hold the economy for longer time ( more than 5 - 6 years ).

Undoubtedly it is very difficult to hold economy for a longer time becoz of one's DISPOSITION. Here Dr. Hahnemann was very clearly write 'true disease' i.e. MIASM. To give health back is a MISSION (aph.1) & permanent restoration i.e. to check MIASM. So here the question of potency is no longer remain but to check the miasm is important. e.g. Main gate of a building is "DISPOSITION' and Lock is "MIASM". Higher potency may hold gate for a long time but to shut safely a lock is demanding.-----------thanks.

Potency is the key to that lock. Had potency not been a question of importance, Hahenmann would not have spent a valuable part of his life devoting to the evolution of different scales of potencies. Even the best selected remedy, be it constitutional or an anti miasmatic, would only be of partial service if the potency selected is not sufficient enough. Once you check the miasm sufficiently, the economy is free from its influence for a relatively longer period.

I don't mean to say that we prescribe a medicine and the patient is free from suffering for the rest of his life ... no. He would fall sick at some point, depending on the other causative factors, but this intensity and propensity to fall sick can be very greatly modified if the chosen medicine is given in a higher scale.
