No, I think that spiders are among man's best friends and we should not disturb them in their good work in keeping the house pest free. On the other hand, it depends also on the type of spider - orb weavers are trapping things that accidently come its way - a bit of a gambler in other words. So if there are many orb weavers in the house, what does that say about the owner?
Hunting spiders are going after their prey and can jump quite far. They do not always catch their prey. Which people have this spider in the house? How far do they like to jump to catch what they want? For whom do they jump and why? What are these people hunting? All according to the doctrine of signatures, just like your ideas about the possum.
So that is what I would be looking for and possibly treat the people, instead of going after the spiders. After all, they simply follow their natures and what is related always seeks each other.
I shall certainly give that a go. Interesting observation, btw, that the possums went away. I mean, how would they be attracted to her energy? I cannot see the connection between possums and the energy of cancer, but then again, as Shakespeare used to say: "There are many things between heaven and earth not dreamed of in your philosophy." So there are equally many things that we may never be able to understand simply because it is beyond our present capacity. It truly baffles me, how sometimes homoeopathy works in manners we never thought possible. This agro-homoeopathy has given me many more insights in its workings, but there are plenty of things I am still in total ignorance about. As I say, I am an eternal student of an infinite subject.
Ants in the house can be deterred by Calendula or Tagetes. They do not like these plants. It also depends on the type of ant. Some do not care about it. You can try Formica rufa, but that is also species dependent, as far as I know.
Interesting that Carcinosin got rid of birds! I would have never thought of that. So I can learn something new every day. I was also looking for a remedy to deter the galah from the fruit trees. On a property of a friend, they eat all the young fig leaves - not the Moreton Bay fig, but the edible one. That tree is slowly dying.
