finally a chance to react to your comment.

The chalice in the palace is the vessel with the pestle, making the brew that is true.
That is actually a very profound statement, which teaches us how the remedy is dynamised. after all, the chalice in the palace is the potentised remedy, made in the vessel with the pestle. To make the brew that is true we require trituration first, followed by division and succussion - but i am telling you nothing new here.

Here comes the first case where your opinion would be greatly appreciated, as well as other homeopaths of the HWC, but I am not too sure as how to go about it.
After having spent quite a lot of time searching for any information on Atrial Septal Disease (ASD) homeopathic treatment, I could not find anything relevant.

For the ones not so familiar with the condition the explanation follows:
Atrial septal defect (ASD) is a congenital heart defect in which the wall that separates the upper heart chambers (atria) does not close completely.

Causes
In fetal circulation, there is normally an opening between the two atria (the upper chambers of the heart) to allow blood to bypass the lungs. This opening usually closes around the time the baby is born.
If the ASD is persistent, blood continues to flow from the left to the right atria. This is called a shunt. If too much blood moves to the right side of the heart, pressures in the lungs build up. The shunt can be reversed so that blood flows from right to left. Many problems can occur if the shunt is large, but small atrial septal defects often cause very few problems and may be found much later in life.
ASD is not very common. When the person has no other congenital defect, symptoms may be absent, particularly in children. Symptoms may begin any time after birth through childhood. Individuals with ASD are at an increased risk for developing a number of complications including:
Atrial fibrillation (in adults)
Heart failure
Pulmonary overcirculation
Pulmonary hypertension
Stroke

And this is exactly the case of the child I know. She is 6.5 yrs old and was diagnosed with a 4 to 7 mm septal hole, just by chance after the school required a routine cardilogical exam. According to the cardiologist and the mother, she has no symptoms what so ever.
Of course that as long as there is Vital force in the being there should be some symptoms, but probably they are so mild, that are not perceptible or since the condition is congenital she adjust and adapted to the situation.
Yesterday she went for an MRI to the heart, for a more complete and detailed diagnostic and the results will be known in a week.

The mother is a friend of mine and has been asking me to take her case, as I have treated several times her kids in the past (she has four). Of course, the treated conditions were always acutes like flu, otitis, gastroenteritis, etc.

I am assuming that if there are reported cases of closure of inguinal hernias, and the heart is also a muscle, theoretically it should also be possible to cure homeopathically such a condition. Nevertheless, they are different systems.

As she is not under any medication and the surgery can wait for a while, I believe she has nothing to loose, if put under homeopathic treatment for a few months and evaluate how the case is progressing.

Planning to take the case as throughly as I possibly can, focusing a lot on the family history, pregnancy and birth. Congenital heart problems point to the syphilitic miasm, but then again a thorough miasmatic study needs to be done.
