Homoeo Times Journal in association with Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Karnataka state branch organized a forum on “Dispensing Homoeopathic Medicines Needs quality Assurance?” at Kaveri Hall, Malleswaram Association Club , Bangalore on 17th Jan 2010. Dr.M.R.Srivatsan moderated the forum and Dr.B.T.Rudresh, Dr.Veerabramhasary, Dr.Ramdass, Dr.H.D.Manjunath Kumar were the panelists. We are giving few excerpts from the forum

Dispensing of Homoeopathic medicines needs to be standardised, these are at present are mostly being dispensed in substandard way by practioner themselves, they use the cheap quality plastic container, mostly re cycled, we need to use food grade containers, Glass bottles need to be made of neutral glass, Blister pack is especially used by so called top doctors with their name printed, the one sealed by Aluminium foil needs to be discouraged as Aluminium reacts even- if placebo packed would have trace of Aluminium metal.
Globules, Diskets are safe provided they are manufactured with pharmaceutical grade sugar.
